Samsung is back with a bang with a new range of phones. The smartphones are gaining popularity not among the crown but among the big companies which are developing smatphones one after the other to maintain the competition between their competitors.

Here we come back to the point that Samsung Halo aka i8520 is another Samsung smart phone that comes with a built-in projector. So people who are always busy with conference and presentations this would help you in doing so if you run short of a projector a the right time. And it’s also great for viewing videos on bigger screen while you’re on the run.

The Samsung Halo runs Android 2.1, features a 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen and is packed with the “Specialized Projector UI”, for the ease of operation of the projector. The Samsung Halo comes packed with features claimed to be pretty similar to what the Wave has, including a Wi-Fi, GPS, DivX and XviD support for videos, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, 8-megapixel camera and 16GB of internal memory.

This Samsung Halo i8520 projector smart phone is expected to hit the Europe market in Q3 this year.

Samsung has introduced a new range of cell phones that are designed for multimedia-hungry users who constantly need to be connected to social networking sites. The new Samsung Shark series consists of the Samsung Shark S5350, Samsung Shark S5550 and Samsung Shark S3550. All of these handsets integrate SNS (Social Networking Services), providing one-click access to popular services like MySpace, Facebook, Bebo and others. The Samsung Shark S5350 provides a QVGA display, a 3.2 MP camera, a 100MB of internal memory, HSDPA and a micro SD card support for memory expansion.

The Samsung Shark S5550 has a QVGA AMOLED display, a 5-megapixel camera, a QVGA video recording and a 110 MB of internal memory which is expandable via a micro SD card. And lastly, the Samsung Shark S3550 is a basic slider phone with a 2-megapixel camera, EDGE, a 40MB of internal memory and a micro SD card slot.

Samsung Russia has officially announced the upcoming release of Samsung C3510 in Russia.

The phone will go on sale in Russia starting late January for 5990 Rubles (about $200).

Specs-wise, the handset features a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, a 1.3MP camera, a 30MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a music player, an FM radio with RDS, a web browser, widgets, social networking integration, Samsung’s DNSe technology, a 3.5mm headset jack and Bluetooth connectivity.

Samsung will introduce the Samsung Corby S3650, Samsung CorbyPro B5310 and Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 at CES 2010. In case you didn’t know, the Galaxy Spica i5700 is an Android smartphone that features an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, lots of Google services, access to popular social networking websites (MySpace, Facebook), a 3.5mm headset jack, DNSe 2.0, a 3.2MP Autofocus camera, and a 180MB of internal memory.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Corby boasts a 2.8-inch QVGA display, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, social networking integration, a 2MP camera and a 50MB of internal memory. And finally, the Samsung CorbyPro supports HSDPA, Wi-Fi, a 3MP camera and a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

Spanish e-tailer has posted some leaked informations about Samsung’s upcoming slider phone called the S5550. Based on the informations they got, the phone will feature an AMOLED display with QVGA resolution, a 5MP camera with Power LED, a microSD card slot, a music player, an FM radio, Bluetooth, 3G and provide an access to a range of social networking sites including Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet.

Samsung has dropped a new Android phone for the Chinese market namely the Samsung BCH-I899.

Powered by a 800MHz processor, the handset sports a 3.2-inch 320 x 480 AMOLED resistive touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera with LED flash and auto focus, a 512MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi/WAPI, Bluetooth, a USB 2.0 port, a 1440mAh battery and supports CDMA2000 EVDO Rev. A connectivity.

Still remember the Samsung M5650? The company has decided to launch this music-focused full touchscreen handset in Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, India and China. FYI, the Samsung M5650 comes equipped with one-touch key to listen to your favorite music, a 3G connectivity, WiFi, a 3-megapixel camera, One Finger Zoom and a cartoon UI. Additionally, its battery cover is available in blue or black.

MetroPCS has released another entry-level phone from Samsung namely the Samsung Stunt R100. This new candybar phone features a 1.7-inch 128 x 160 CSTN display, an easy-to-use interface, Icon Carousel (with One Touch Messaging, One Touch Speakerphone and One Touch Calendar), Bluetooth and a set of MetroPCS applications including MetroWEB Internet Access, Metro 411 Directory Assistance, MetroBACKUP, mail@metro Unlimited E-mail and My Metro Account Manager. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet.

While the Samsung Reclaim has a price and launch right away the other solar powered eco-friendly Samsung mobile gadget . This time we have some lice pictures of the Blue Earth GT- S7750. Made without the harmful Beryllium, Phthalate or Brominated Flame Retardants the S7750 features TouchWiz 3.0 UI along with a full touchscreen.

Samsung is taking some serious efforts to cater to the needs of the people concerned about the environment and to the growing needs of more environment friendly products. The company has recently launched an environment friendly mobile gadget dubbed the Reclaim. The eco-friendly handset is made from 80% recyclable material and would be available with Sprint. Samsung makes use of corn and other bio-materials to make the handset’s outer casing and other parts. Even the images and text on the box and the warranty card are made from soy-ink.
The charger is no doubt Energy Star rated which ensures the highest energy standards set by U.S. Energy Department. As if the rating was not enough, the charger consumes 12 times less power than the standards set for Energy Star rating.

The Samsung Behold II (T939) for T-Mobile is a touch screen smartphone featuring Google’s Android operating system for maximum personalization, entertainment and productivity. Samsung has added two new phones to its highly successful Samsung Corby range in India, the Samsung CorbyPlus B3410 and Samsung CorbyPro B5310. Both handsets are messaging phones that are aimed at the youth segment in India. These phones provide access to social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace via Samsung’s famous TouchWiz user interface. The Samsung CorbyPro B5310 comes with GPS, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 3.2MP camera and a 100MB of storage space. While, the Samsung CorbyPlus B3410 features a 3.5mm headset jack and a 2MP camera. The Samsung CorbyPlus B3410 and Samsung CorbyPro B5310 retails for 13,900 INR ($299) and 10,050 INR ($216), respectively.
