Samsung Halo i8520 projector smart phone

Here we come back to the point that Samsung Halo aka i8520 is another Samsung smart phone that comes with a built-in projector. So people who are always busy with conference and presentations this would help you in doing so if you run short of a projector a the right time. And it’s also great for viewing videos on bigger screen while you’re on the run.

The Samsung Halo runs Android 2.1, features a 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen and is packed with the “Specialized Projector UI”, for the ease of operation of the projector. The Samsung Halo comes packed with features claimed to be pretty similar to what the Wave has, including a Wi-Fi, GPS, DivX and XviD support for videos, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, 8-megapixel camera and 16GB of internal memory.

This Samsung Halo i8520 projector smart phone is expected to hit the Europe market in Q3 this year.

The new Samsung Shark series consists of the Samsung Shark S5350, Samsung Shark S5550 and Samsung Shark S3550. All of these handsets integrate SNS (Social Networking Services), providing one-click access to popular services like MySpace, Facebook, Bebo and others. The Samsung Shark S5350 provides a QVGA display, a 3.2 MP camera, a 100MB of internal memory, HSDPA and a micro SD card support for memory expansion.

The Samsung Shark S5550 has a QVGA AMOLED display, a 5-megapixel camera, a QVGA video recording and a 110 MB of internal memory which is expandable via a micro SD card. And lastly, the Samsung Shark S3550 is a basic slider phone with a 2-megapixel camera, EDGE, a 40MB of internal memory and a micro SD card slot.

Samsung C3510 Officially Announced In Russia

samsung-c3510-11Samsung Russia has officially announced the upcoming release of Samsung C3510 in Russia.

The phone will go on sale in Russia starting late January for 5990 Rubles (about $200).

Specs-wise, the handset features a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, a 1.3MP camera, a 30MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a music player, an FM radio with RDS, a web browser, widgets, social networking integration, Samsung’s DNSe technology, a 3.5mm headset jack and Bluetooth connectivity.

Samsung To Introduce Corby, CorbyPro And Galaxy Spica At CES 2010

In case you didn’t know, the Galaxy Spica i5700 is an Android smartphone that features an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, lots of Google services, access to popular social networking websites (MySpace, Facebook), a 3.5mm headset jack, DNSe 2.0, a 3.2MP Autofocus camera, and a 180MB of internal memory.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Corby boasts a 2.8-inch QVGA display, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, social networking integration, a 2MP camera and a 50MB of internal memory. And finally, the Samsung CorbyPro supports HSDPA, Wi-Fi, a 3MP camera and a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

s5550-1Spanish e-tailer has posted some leaked informations about Samsung’s upcoming slider phone called the S5550. Based on the informations they got, the phone will feature an AMOLED display with QVGA resolution, a 5MP camera with Power LED, a microSD card slot, a music player, an FM radio, Bluetooth, 3G and provide an access to a range of social networking sites including Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet.

The company has recently launched an environment friendly mobile gadget dubbed the Reclaim. The eco-friendly handset is made from 80% recyclable material and would be available with Sprint. Samsung makes use of corn and other bio-materials to make the handset’s outer casing and other parts. Even the images and text on the box and the warranty card are made from soy-ink.
The charger is no doubt Energy Star rated which ensures the highest energy standards set by U.S. Energy Department. As if the rating was not enough, the charger consumes 12 times less power than the standards set for Energy Star rating.

Both handsets are messaging phones that are aimed at the youth segment in India. These phones provide access to social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace via Samsung’s famous TouchWiz user interface. The Samsung CorbyPro B5310 comes with GPS, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 3.2MP camera and a 100MB of storage space. While, the Samsung CorbyPlus B3410 features a 3.5mm headset jack and a 2MP camera. The Samsung CorbyPlus B3410 and Samsung CorbyPro B5310 retails for 13,900 INR ($299) and 10,050 INR ($216), respectively.
