Would iPhone 4G get Super AMOLED display?

Posted by janet On February - 18 - 2010

samsung-mobile-wvga-amoled-displayiPhone 4G would be the first mobile phone or gadget which would get the AMOLED display from Samsung. Previously iPhone 3G rocked us with its amazing features and now it is the turn of iPhone 4G to take the stage and create magic. But these Amoled Display is assumed to be a rumor at this part of time.

Apple has come up with certain news about the iPhone 4G that it is stll concerned about the power consumption of the device when it is used in Web browsing. The power consumption is mainly caused because of the graphical content, therefore the solution for decresing the power consumtion for iPhone 4G would be using the content in black background and white or blue letters in order to reduce the power consumtion.

Apple knows the best technology and would however come to a solution of reducing the power consumtion, So do not worry about the power consumtion.

iPhone now lets you call with Skype over 3G

Posted by Sebastin On January - 29 - 2010

3g-fring-iphone-rm-engNow that the iPhone SDK seems to allow for 3G VoIP, it looks like the floodgates are beginning to open. Joining the ranks of iCall in this somewhat uncharted territory is Fring. Same deal as the previous one, the ability is already inherent in the current build, and now that the restriction has been lifted, users can simply place calls as they usually do through the service — yes, that includes Skype calls — only now not tethered to the nearest 802.11 cloud. As for the native Skype app, last we checked it was still not working. But it’s only a matter of time.

iPhone 4G could have magic mouse like touch-sensitive casing

Posted by janet On January - 21 - 2010

iphone-4g-multitouch-case_69nsc_54While the world is eagerly waiting for the iSlate (Apple tablet PC), there’s a slight murmur in the wilds that the next gen iPhone could be cased inside a gesture sensing body, very similar to what the Apple’s Magic Mouse has.

Coming from Bloomberg Goldman Sachs analyst Robert Chen, the rumor could hold true, but because there is no confirmation on this from Apple, it would be difficult to comment. We already have been through hearsays stating that the iPhone 4G will feature a 5MP camera, whether true or only a wild guess, one thing is sure, Apple’s definitely going to surprise us this summer, only if that rumor is true?

Apple iPhone 4.0 OS Leaked Details

Posted by wilson On January - 21 - 2010

iphone-os-4-0The BGR has received some details of the next version of Apple’s [AAPL] iPhone OS, version 4.0, and we could see it a lot sooner than we thought as Apple may unveil iPhone OS 4.0 at next weeks special event on the 27th of January. Some of the features in iPhone OS 4.0 include multitouch gestures which are OS wide, this would make sense as the OS for the rumored Apple Tablet is expected to be similar to that of the iPhone. One interesting feature revealed, which is on a lot of smartphones, but not the iPhone is multitasking, or the ability to run applications in the background, this would definitely be a welcome addition to the iPhone OS.

It looks like the UI make be getting a bit of a redesign and it is reported that the new UI will make the iPhone easier and more efficient to use. It looks like the update will be coming to the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, and there, may even be a new way for syncing contact and calendar applications. It certainly does sound very interesting, I guess we will have to wait until next week to see what Apple has planned for the iPhone OS 4.0.

If the negotiations are successful, it could also mean that Bing could eventually replace Google as the default search engine for Apple’s desktop version of Safari as well
