Previously iPhone 3G rocked us with its amazing features and now it is the turn of iPhone 4G to take the stage and create magic. The power consumption is mainly caused because of the graphical content, therefore the solution for decresing the power consumtion for iPhone 4G would be using the content in black background and white or blue letters in order to reduce the power consumtion.

Apple knows the best technology and would however come to a solution of reducing the power consumtion, So do not worry about the power consumtion.

Micro SIMs can probably be fashioned from shaved down traditional SIMs

Posted by kriston On February - 3 - 2010

lok8u-internal-fccWe’ve finally found ourselves a solid, confirmed shot of a micro SIM in the wild, thanks to an FCC filing from Lok8u — the company that just inked a deal with T-Mobile — that shows the innards of its GPS watch torn asunder. Over on the right there is one of the micro SIMs in question, and as you can clearly make out, the contact pad is identical to the one you’d find on a traditional SIM (that shot of an AT&T unit that we’d posted earlier was actually a mockup by our own Sean Cooper, you see). In other words, if you were really hard up to get that iPad up and running on a network that isn’t providing micros, you could probably shoehorn a traditional SIM in there with a little elbow grease and handiwork, which happily matches up with information we’ve been hearing from several contacts of ours.

lg_lte_2The rest of the world is catching on rapidly but overall, Japan is still the world’s most advanced society mobile society. That being said, you’d assume that the first 4G (LTE) device to get an official certification from Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications must be coming from one of the many mobile companies over here, but it was South Korea’s LG who got the bragging rights [KR] for that today.

Just look at how proud the model in the picture is holding said certification in her hands. The Korean company will sell not a handset but a 4G-compatible data modem, the LD100, in Japan. Japan’s biggest mobile carrier NTT Docomo is ready to distribute the device in its home market (Docomo said just in November 2009 it will kick off 4G operations in Japan in December this year).Docomo (and other Japanese carriers) have been conducting 4G field tests in Japan for quite some time now, and you can expect the data modem to be among the first 4G devices available later this year.

Price details and the actual release date still aren’t public but, with the new slip, is likely soon.

The Devour is poised to be a lower-cost alternative to the Droid with a 3-megapixel camera and a smaller, lower resolution display. It would also be the first Motorola Android 2.x phone to use the custom MOTOBLUR interface and will carry an uncommon optical trackpad for navigating one-handed.
