Samsung has dropped a new Android phone for the Chinese market namely the Samsung BCH-I899.

Powered by a 800MHz processor, the handset sports a 3.2-inch 320 x 480 AMOLED resistive touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera with LED flash and auto focus, a 512MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi/WAPI, Bluetooth, a USB 2.0 port, a 1440mAh battery and supports CDMA2000 EVDO Rev. A connectivity.

A new projector phone has entered the market, this time from Logic Wireless called the Bolt V 1.5 (model 150LGW).

The handset boasts a built-in projector that is able to produce images up to 64-inches with a native resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.

Apart from that, it also sports a 2.6-inch QVGA display, a 3MP camera, a 1MP front camera, a media player, an FM radio, a TV tuner, dual microSD card slots, Bluetooth, a 1200mAh battery, Symbian OS and supports quad-band GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 connectivity. The Logic Bolt V 1.5 is now available at SkyMall for $499.

The Metro Pink Cosmopolitan phone is an attractive handset with perfect mix of high-end features and the pink charm. Virtually, it’s an affordable pink alternative of a Blackberry or Nokia N71.

The dual SIM phone features a 2.8″ QVGA screen which can tilt at various angles, a QWERTY keyboard and a 2GB microSD memory card. The first class quad-band mobile phone supports all four global GSM frequencies.

It has got bluetooth, but lacks WiFi and there’s also no clear word on its camera quality. However, for $100, the Metro Pink Cosmopolitan offers quite a lot of standard businessphone features, all encased in a chic pink design.

Kyocera today announced the availability of both the Laylo and Domino via MetroPCS. The Laylo is a slider handset that comes equipped with a 2.2-inch high-resolution contoured display, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and a hidden vanity mirror. Meanwhile, the Domino is a stream-lined candy-bar phone that shares a platform with the Laylo. Both handsets support WAP 2.0 browser, Bluetooth 2.0, and share the ability to run BREW-based apps, a full set of features offered by MetroPCS including news, sports, email access, instant messaging, and contact management. The Kyocera Laylo is priced at $100 before rebate, while the Domino retails for $70 before rebate.

iPhone owners in South Korea can now purchase the Phone Bubble from Wavely, which is actually “a jacket” for iPhone. The Phone Bubble features a silicone skin with a unique bubble design and four edges that come equipped with air cell to protect your precious handset. What makes the Phone Bubble more special is that it is also washable. The Wavely Phone Bubble retails for 26,000 Won ($21).

Still remember the Samsung M5650? The company has decided to launch this music-focused full touchscreen handset in Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, India and China. FYI, the Samsung M5650 comes equipped with one-touch key to listen to your favorite music, a 3G connectivity, WiFi, a 3-megapixel camera, One Finger Zoom and a cartoon UI. Additionally, its battery cover is available in blue or black.

The Sharp HYBRID W-ZERO3 is a new Windows Mobile 6.5-powered handset that will be launched in January 2010. The phone boasts a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, a Qualcomm 528MHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera, on board GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a microSD memory card slot. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing at this time.

MetroPCS has released another entry-level phone from Samsung namely the Samsung Stunt R100. This new candybar phone features a 1.7-inch 128 x 160 CSTN display, an easy-to-use interface, Icon Carousel (with One Touch Messaging, One Touch Speakerphone and One Touch Calendar), Bluetooth and a set of MetroPCS applications including MetroWEB Internet Access, Metro 411 Directory Assistance, MetroBACKUP, mail@metro Unlimited E-mail and My Metro Account Manager. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet.

Chinese-based company Chang Jiang has introduced their latest smartphone for the mass market called the Magic Voice A9 TV Phone. Unlike most smartphones, the A9 offers some quite interesting specs, it has a 3-inch touchscreen display, two cameras, dual receivers (one on each side of its screen), dual mics, dual SIM card slots, an MP3/MP4 player, an FM radio, an analog TV tuner, Bluetooth and supports quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivity. If you’re interested, the Magic Voice A9 TV Phone will set you back $129.99.

Folks in the UK will receive the Nokia N900 via Vodafone UK’s online store sometime next month. Vodafone is the only carrier to provide the Nokia N900 in the UK so far. As a reminder, the Nokia N900 is a 3G handset that supports HSDPA, GSM/GPRS, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a slide full QWERTY keyboard, a 32GB internal memory, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, Vodafone Mobile Internet, an MP3 player, an FM radio, a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and Auto focus. The Nokia N900 measures 110.9mm x 59.8mm x 19.55mm and weights 181grams.

China has lots of cloned and weird cellphones. It’s another weird cellphone here, called the Kingk N99, which comes with a round LCD screen and is printed with a Transformer logo on the front. If you wanna stay unique from others, this could be the choice.The round LCD screen of the Kingk N99 cellphone will not be good for watching conventional 4:3 or 16:9 video. Well, the phone should attract some eyes as it comes in a shiny metallic body and there is a sliding metal door that hides the keypad. The N99 phone has a 1.3 megapixel camera. And the most strange part on the phone is it’s Nokia-branded and has a Nokia logo beneath the Transformer.The N99 is a GSM 900/1800MHz phone, which suits Europe, Asia, Africa etc but not the Americas. It costs $159 each or you can buy in bulk which each costs less.

OPPO is known as a portable media player manufacturer in its early years in China. The company will launch their first Android-powered smartphone in the first quarter of 2010. The phone will comes with a 3.5-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, a side slide QWERTY keyboard and a Wi-Fi connectivity. The name of the model is still unavailable at this time. FCC has approved another upcoming slider phone from Nokia namely the Nokia 7230. This new handset will work on US 3G bands (850/1900 MHz) and feature a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 3.2MP camera, a stereo FM radio, Nokia Maps, a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headset jack and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. The Nokia 7230 will probably be launched by AT&T in the US. Stay tuned for more updates.

Sony Ericsson has decided to delay the release date of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 until the first week of January 2010. The first Android smartphone features a 1GHz Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm, a wide 4-inch capacitive touch display, and an 8.1-megapixel camera with LED flash. This Sony Ericsson model will be a quad-band GSM phone with mobile broadband. There will be two versions, one with the 3G frequencies used in North America, and a second for the rest of the world. Additionally, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 will have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a GPS receiver, and a microSDHC card slot.
