Samsung is preparing to launch its new dual slider phone called the M3310. The handset is basically a music phone that offers a QVGA TFT display with 65k colors, an alphanumeric keypad, music control keys, a 3.2MP camera, an FM radio, a 40MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and supports quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity. Amazon has recently dropped the price of the Nokia N900 smartphone to $582.99, $66.01 cheaper than its current pre-order price. In case you didn’t know, the N900 is the company first Maemo-based device to have phone capabilities. The smartphone sports a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixels, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 5MP camera with video recording, a 32GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, an FM radio, WiFi, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports both quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and tri-band WCDMA (900/1700/2100 MHz) connectivities. The French company S.T. DuPont has joined with South Korea’s third largest handset maker, Pantech in order to release the Pantech Sky DuPont IM-U510LE. Inspired by DuPont’s famous lighters, this handset comes jam packed with a 3-inch touchscreen display, a 2G-only connectivity, GPS, a 3MP camera, and gold-plated edges. The Pantech Sky DuPont IM-U510LE is priced at around $832, which is Pantech’s most expensive phone so far. (Source)

The Samsung SCH-B900 is the company’s latest touchscreen phone for the South Korean market. The handset offers a 3-inch touchscreen display with 240 x 400 resolution, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, a 3MP camera, a voice control, DMB TV, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), GPS, Bluetooth, a 960 mAh battery and supports CDMA/EV-DO connectivity. Here’s another upcoming touchscreen phone from Motorola, the Motorola E11. Although it’s not officially announced, the phone is said to have a 2.8-inch TFT touchscreen display with 240 x 320 resolution, a 3MP camera, 3D menus, a media player, a microSD card slot, a USB port, Bluetooth and support only dual-band GSM/GPRS (900/1800 MHz) connectivity. Here is a leaked video of the upcoming Nokia Erdos 8800, which is a Symbian S60-powered handset made from a single piece of stainless
steal with a piece of glass covering the display. Measuring 116.9mm x 50.3mm x 15mm, the phone also has a rising keypad which matches the display’s level when you slide it open. Additional features include a 2.4-inch OLED display with 320 x 240 pixels and 16-million colors, Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) and dual-band WCDMA connectivity, Wi-Fi, a-GPS, Stereo Bluetooth, a 5MP Carl Zeiss camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and video recording, and an 8GB of internal memory. Sprint has released another affordable slider phone from Samsung namely the M330. The handset measures only 3.7-inch x 1.7-inch x 0.6-inch and features a camera with 4x digital zoom, Sprint’s Picture Mail, a web browser, a built-in speakerphone, Bluetooth and a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 6 hours in talking mode. The Samsung M330 is now available via Sprint’s online store for just $0.00 with a 2-year contract agreement and after rebate.(Source)

LG has announced their first Android-based smartphone. Previously known as “Etna”, the new LG-GW620 boasts a 3-inch full touchscreen and slide out QWERTY keypad to meet the growing needs of consumers who rely on their mobile phones for more than just making calls. The phone will be available in the fourth quarter of this year in select European markets. Unfortunately, there is no info on when this handset will be available in the US market. Several live photos of the upcoming HTC Leo smartphone has been unveiled. These new photos confirm that the HTC Leo is exist. The phone will come with Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 480 x 800 pixels touchscreen display, a 320MB RAM, a 512MB of flash memory, and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR. There is still no official announcement on when the HTC Leo will be released.(Info)

Alltel has released another messaging phone from Samsung namely the Samsung Freefrom SCH-r351. This new candybar phone features a 2.2-inch QCIF color display, a four-row QWERTY keyboard, a music player, threaded text messaging, a microSD card slot (up to 16GB), a speakerphone, GPS and Stereo Bluetooth connectivity.
