"Google, Motorola to Share Android Data with Apple"Well, the latest update from a Chicago judge note that Google and Motorola have been ordered to hand over Android development information to Apple, with judge agreeing with Apple that roadmap details together with acquisition information are important to Apple’s patent lawsuit.

US Circuit Judge Richard A. Posner ruled that Motorola shall be likely to get complete and instant compliance by the Search Giant with iPhone maker’s liability discovery demands, though Motorola has fired back with the argument that it has no control over the Search Giant’s disclosure.

In a court filing, the company’s legal team stated that Google’s employees and documents are not within the possession, control or custody of Motorola and Motorola cannot force the Search Giant to produce documents or witnesses over Google’s objections. Meanwhile, Google has declined to comment on the ruling.

At the moment, it is unclear what exactly the Cupertino California Company is seeking for and it is not noted precisely whether the Android roadmap details concern Google’s future plans for the platform or its significant development of it. Either of those might be insightful for the California Company in ascertaining whether its patented technologies have been infringed.

The Search Company has asserted that it will be operating the Motorola division as a separate organization from its present Android team, with dividers assured between the two. Andy Rubin, the chief of Android stated that the acquisition and potential fears that Google may possibly give Motorola priority treatment over and above HTC, Samsung and others.
