Good news for the folks as Samsung has confirmed that the 10.1-inch tablet version of its Galaxy Note pen-enabled smartphone – Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with an S-Pen developer event to be held at this year’s Mobile World Congress.
Quite interestingly, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 with stylus input has been appeared on Samsung’s official blog, although it seems to be a typo error and other signs point to it being a legitimate product.
As you are aware, it’s not the first time that we are hearing about Samsung’s S-Pen functionality beyond the 5.3-inch Galaxy Note. Last month, a Samsung product marketing manager hinted that the South Korean Electronic Company saw clear advantages for tablets with digital pens – Ryan Biden claims that he thinks a pen interface persists to make a lot of sense across a number of screen sizes, like the larger is more obvious of those.
In fact, there is no need to surprise if Samsung would reuse the Wacom-based pen technology. On the other hand, an S-Pen SDK has already been released, permitting developers to create their own apps that use the more precise input option, and Samsung has been releasing software modifications to the stylus via its own on-device app store.
Since, Galaxy S III is no longer estimated at this year’s Mobile World Congress it appears like the Company will yet have a few appealing tricks for the show.
