Good news for the gamers as Alienware has kept is promised by releasing its latest x51 slim tower PC at a live event in San Francisco. The Company notes that the starting price tag of the new x51 slim tower PC will be $699 and will strike the market from today, January 18th.
According to the official reports from the Company, the new x51 slim tower gaming PC is powered by Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 series processors and is armed with Nvidia GT and GTX graphics cards, together with DVD or Blu-Ray drive, 7.1 digital audio outputs, and with WiFi, and HDMI connectivity options.
Alienware claims that the new x51 slim tower gaming PC is fully user upgradeable and the system is down to the motherboard.
Quite fascinatingly, the x51 introduced a few fresh elements to Alienware’s desktop array. As it has never sold a slim tower desktop, and the latest lean design indicates that you don’t have to find a home for a tower beast. Furthermore, the low price tag as well hints that Alienware is ultimately grabbing advantages of some of those economies of scale afforded to it by the parent company, Dell.
Well, finally we have to wait and see how the gamers would receive this x51 desktop. It may possibly benefit from the similar success as Alienware’s MX14 laptop series that fetched Alienware’s unique products to additional mainstream clientele than its high-end desktops. Furthermore in Alienware’s favor is the verity that few of its boutique PC rivals present their gaming desktops in the similar price tag.
