Fujitsu Plans to Land in U.S.Smartphone Market

As you are aware, over the last couple of year Fujitsu has a strong presence in Japan with its partnership with carrier DoCoMo, however sadly its handsets never make it outside of its home country.
According to the latest reports from the Sources familiar with matter claims that handsets appearing inside the country will soon change, Since Fujitsu is currently making it a precedence to strike its smartphones to the North American market and has been considering it as the best way to make an entrance.
In an Interview at the 2012 Consumer Electronic Show, Hideyuki Saso the Senior Executive Vice President of Fujitsu has claimed that the North America is their priority market, and further he says that Fujitsu is in the process of recapturing complete control over its operations, taking back Toshiba’s 19.9 percent stake in their joint-venture. It makes both Windows Phone and Android; however isn’t sure until now which place it will target in North America.
The Senior Executive Vice President, Saso says that we would like to identify the correct way of entering the North American market, which would make use of our (Fujitsu) technology and expertise to make a steady landing. Adding further he says that we (Fujitsu) don’t want to be merely another mobile phone. We (Fujitsu) want to be special.
Some of the advantages Fujitsu expects to exploit consist of its wide range of thin yet durable and waterproof handset, Fujitsu Arrow F-07D smartphone that is touted as the thinnest phone in the world at just 6.7mm thin.
