"Gigabyte S1081 Tablet & T1006M Convertible Notebook" Gigabyte the Taiwan-based manufacturer of computer hardware products well-known for its motherboards has today unveiled outstanding lineup of revolutionary mobile computers at CES 2012.

Among the lineup of products from Gigabyte at CES 2012, the S1081, a 10.1-inch powerful slate for productivity and T1006M, an extraordinary 10.1-inch convertible tablet notebook are the Exciting products presented.

According to the official reports fro the Company, the S1081 tablet and T1006M notebook both run on Intel’s latest Cedar Trail Atom CPUs. The Gigabyte S1081 has a 10.1-inch capacitive multitouch display, armed with 500GB hard-drive and equipped with USB 3.0, and can be paired with a Multimedia Docking Station that includes a DVD drive and 2.1 speaker system.

While coming to the connectivity options, the S1081 tablet consists of Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, HDMI and VGA. Quite fascinatingly, Gigabyte has designed a matching USB keyboard and carry-case. An optical trackpad can be seen in the bezel, together with a 1.3-megapixel webcam. The dock as well has extra ports.

Gigabyte T1006M is a 10.1-inch convertible tablet notebook that has great performance and is equipped with an outstanding capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 1366×768. T1006M is powered by the new Intel AtomTM Cedar Trail platform, which provides outstanding processing power for mobile productivity.

Connectivity options include USB 3.0, with integrated 3.5G WWAN, armed with a powerful lengthy battery life from the 6-cell battery.

Unfortunately, at the moment the Taiwanese Manufacturer Company has not revealed any precise information regarding the price tag or availability of Gigabyte S1081 tablet and T1006M notebook.
