Apple’s Ping for iPad: Apple has lately appended its music based social network ‘Ping’ to the iTunes app for iPad. Before the release of iOS 4.2, the Ping will be integrated which would be later this month.
Now, Apple iPad users can now have an access on all the music based social network features via new button introduced at the bottom of the iTunes app. To use the Ping’s features, iPad users must open the iPad app and it will be updated automatically. This doesn’t require any additional download.
What is this so-called Ping? This will track the user’s purchases on Apple iTunes and also, if Ping friends start downloading some thing via live feed, then it allows you to leave a comment.
Ping was introduced at the end of the August. More than one million users had registered within first two days of this Ping’s existence.
Earlier this week, the musical social network of Apple has expanded its market with a partnership with Twitter. On Thursday, Twitter has announced that all the Ping users can now incorporate their respective Twitter followers into their Ping contacts. They can directly link to their Twitter account so that they can also respond to the tweets sent by others. Many other activities such as purchases, previews on songs can be added to Tweets.
