Blackberry Playbook: RIM Announced Blackberry Playbook Tablet Features

RIM announced its new tablet as Blackberry Playbook. The interesting thing is this new Blackberry Playbook doesn’t support Blackberry operating system. A new operating system which was developed by QNX is used for this device. This smart device weights just 400g.

This QNX is an UNIX operating system. Blackberry Playbook is ready to compete with iPad. Blackberry Playbook is having features such as 1 GHz Dual Core Processor, 1 GB of RAM, 7 inch LCD  display with 1024 x 600 screen resolution, multitouch capacitive display, micro USB, micro HDMI, DLNA connectivity, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 2.1, 5 mega pixel camera and 3 mega pixel front facing camera.

Now, the company has announced the model, which supports WiFi only. 3G and 4G models will be released in future. The company did not reveal the price details yet.
