Toshiba’s 41,000 Satellite T series Laptops get a Recall

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has asked Toshiba to recall 41,000 laptops due to overheating problems and melting. It was reported that Toshiba Satellite T-series notebook computers like T135, T135D and ProT130 are facing this problems.

Toshiba has sold tToshiba’s 41,000 Satellite T series Laptops get a Recallhese laptops at electronics stores, other retailers and at online from August 2009 to last month for $600 to $800. The company has asked the customers to download BIOS computer software from its website, which will detect whether Toshiba laptop is overheating or not, if needed the company will do free repair.

Toshiba has received 129 reports regarding computers overheating. Earlier, Toshiba Satellite T-series notebook computers were a popular model in market.
