Samsung Officially Announces the Samsung Android Tablet

Samsung has introduced its latest tablet which has been dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Tab. This Samsung Galaxy Tab is having a 7-inch display, which is powered by Google Android 2.2 ‘Froyo’ operating system.

Today, officially Samsung has announced about this Galaxy android tablet. This new Galaxy Tab is having Google’s Android applications, including access to the 70,000-plus apps in the Android Market. Samsung has added some of its own applications also.

Samsung has released some of its features only. This tablet runs on Froyo on 1-Ghz Samsung Hummingbird processor and it is having LCD screen of 1024-by-600 resolution. As this Galaxy Tab runs on Froyo, the web browser has full Adobe Flash 10.1 support. To connect to internet, the Galaxy Tab uses 3G HSPA 7.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11n.

Samsung Galaxy Tab is having 3-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front, MicroSD card slot supporting up to 32GB, tablet weighs 13 ounces and its 4000 mAh battery will provide you up to seven hours of video playback. The other information regarding its price tag is not mentioned by the Samsung yet.
