It was announced that Motorola Droid 2 will hit the stores next week and Motorola Droid 2 is expected to be released on August 12th 2010. Motorola Droid 2 comes with a 1GHZ TI OMAP 3630 processor and this latest version comes with an improved performance and power efficiency.

The company also plans to release its smart phone with dual 1GHZ processor by the end of this year. Your can get your Motorola Droid 2 for $199 on a two year contract or if you want to get the handset with out any contract, then grab it for $599.

Motorola Droid 2 comes with 1GHZ processor, 8GB of built in storage, micro SD card slot with 8GB card, Swype, Android 2.2, Bluetooth, voice dialing, improved browser performance, Flash 10.x support and the ability to store applications on external memory.
