Plug in L5 to your iPhone to remote control any device

Yesterday, CES saw an incredible teeny-weenie dongle that turns your iPhone or iPod touch into a remote that can control virtually any system enabled with Front Row remote-sensor, and which may not necessarily be an Apple product.

Till now, the iPhone/iPod Touch remote application could only be used with Macs or Apple TV, but the L5 Remote accessory is something that makes this application universal. The marvel designed by L5 Technology, enables your iPhone or iPod touch to control a number of devices like TV, music systems, DVD player, cable set top box or even an AC or a fan. The 1.25″ device is required to be plugged into the iPhone or iPod Touch and then after a simple programming it’s ready to control your home systems.

Before everything, you’ll also need to download a free software on your handset in order to make it operate with L5. Moreover, L5 allows you to customize and organize your touchscreen remote with drag and drop feature according your preference. The L5 remote accessory is geared up to hi the shelves by Feburary and would sell online at L5 remote for $49.95.
